Theory and simulation of excitonic complexes in low-dimensional materials
Tim Berkelbach, Columbia University and Flatiron Institute

I will present work on the theory and simulation of excitons in lead halide perovskites. Specifically, I will describe a combination of tight-binding models and classical electrostatics in order to enable a low-cost GW/BSE approach, applicable to systems with very large unit cells. Extensions to trions, biexcitons, and cubic nanocrystals will also be discussed.
